Hello From Los Angeles

Hello everyone;

my name is James and I live in LA. Haven't been here long but I'm originally from Pennsylvania where things are a lot different than here. I one thing I miss about PA is the mountain bike trails and beautiful mountains, and woods. I'm hoping to connect with people in LA so I can learn the trains.

At Arrow racing we have fun at a higher level! Good times during training sessions and some racing shots. A good shot of the "boneshaker" at Hardwood Hills.

Interview with local Bellingham, Wash., rider

By walker on 10/20/2006 on walker's blog
Josh on the trails...

I'm talking with a local rider from Bellingham, Washington. His name is Josh Mather. I thought, what better way to learn about the riding in Bellingham than to interview a local rider. Let's begin...

Q: Josh, why should anyone travel here to ride?

A: Because it is sick and it is fun.

Q: Where is the best place to ride?

A: Galbraith is the best place to ride, but there are many options as well. The Chuckanut mountains are large enough to support lots of trails. One of the coolest things about riding in Bellingham is the mixture of the styles of riding. If you like to XC, then you have lots of trails and miles of riding. If you are into freeriding, then you will be at home in Bellingham: lots of built up terrain and natural obstacles.

Relocation over Vacation.

By subunit1 on 9/1/2006 on subunit1's blog

My story is not really of a vacation but of a lack of 'vacation'. The time I wanted to use this summer for vacation biking was replaced by a relocating to Edmonton, AB. My wife and I decided to leave the beautiful location of Nanaimo, BC on Vancouver Island and move back to Alberta. My wife left first as she got a job which wanted her to start prior to us actually moving there. This left me to pack up the lion's share of a two bedroom condo, one storage unit, three cats and all our gear in approximatley 3 weeks time. I was able to 'sqeeze' in a couple of rides prior to departing, with my buddies but this is no vacation when you have relocation on the brain.

New Trail Guide for Gallup, NM

By walker on 8/9/2006 on walker's blog
Is this Moab? No it is Gallup!!!

If you live in the Southwest U.S., then you know that mountain biking is a year round activity (lucky us). However, at times, it requires some driving. If you live in Durango, like I do, that drive is short. Only four hours to Gallup, New Mexico, and some of the newest and most exciting mountain biking on the planet.

I've been to Gallup five times this year! I have only the best reports to give back: easy camping, great 12-hour racing, lots of variety and one really good coffee shop.

The other day my wish was fulfilled. My buddy Stan Smith sent me an e-mail with the following headlines: NEW TRAIL GUIDE FOR GALLUP NM!
