Centennial

Categories: Awesome Downhill Directions: (Google map) Take US 130 30mi west from Laramie, past Centennial into the Medicine Bow Mountains. Access the trail from the Green Rock Picnic Area on US 130 about 6 miles west of of the USFS visitor center west of Centennial. Or, access the trail from Barber Lake, ie, after passing the USFS visitor center on US 130, take a left on Barber Lake Rd which takes you to Barber Lake after about 2 miles. The Green Rock Picnic Area is well marked on the left of US 130. The trail at Barber Lake starts on a maintanence road going west; look for the blue diamonds. There are plenty of trails in the Medicine Bow National Forest but here is a superb one and fun in between the lakes up there. This section will have some hike bike but if you like technical stuff at 10,000feet... this is awesome.
