disc brakes squeal Avid

OK, here's the deal. I'm finally upgrading to disc brakes. (yes, I know I'm way behind the curve on this one.) I opted to go with Avid BB7s for a variety of reasons, which may or may not have somehting to do with my problem. That problem is brake squeal. Now granted, I have not completely broken in or "set" the brakes yet. I have only ridden around the cul de sac a bit to try them out, and maybe this will resolve itself after a few hours of riding. What I know of disc brakes, which is somewhat limited, brake squeal is an issue for almost all disc brakes at some point.
