Edmonton trail talk

<em>Spacemonkey</em>'s picture

Figured Id creat a place on here for us to Talk trails. Weather it's your favorite trail, a story about a trail you ride, or a trail that needs some TLC. Winter has set into the point where my bike might as well be burried under the snow(it's not though) however that only makes me want to think more about the great rides I need to do when spring comes.

Next summer or spring I am going to have to bike from the kinnard ravine all the way down to terwilligar park, That should make for a nice long ride.

Face the camara

My kitty took these pics, after much posing and directing this was the one she said "hold that" to. I'm not entirely geared out but it's just my evening ride to work no body armour required. though a weapon might be nice when fighting traffic.

Relocation over Vacation.

By subunit1 on 9/1/2006 on subunit1's blog

My story is not really of a vacation but of a lack of 'vacation'. The time I wanted to use this summer for vacation biking was replaced by a relocating to Edmonton, AB. My wife and I decided to leave the beautiful location of Nanaimo, BC on Vancouver Island and move back to Alberta. My wife left first as she got a job which wanted her to start prior to us actually moving there. This left me to pack up the lion's share of a two bedroom condo, one storage unit, three cats and all our gear in approximatley 3 weeks time. I was able to 'sqeeze' in a couple of rides prior to departing, with my buddies but this is no vacation when you have relocation on the brain.
