a tight, fast trail, built on the IMBA sweet singletrack outline. Much of this trail handbuilt by local volunteers & expansion built thru fundraising & contracted machine build by Talon Trails.

  • Lost Arrow Loop trail is a multi-use trail, extending into a former championship archery course, hence the name. The trails initial survey was designed to IMBA standards by the TBC & Talon Trails. The hike/bike trail is almost 4 miles as a loop & considered beginer to intermediate, crossing several scenic ravines & creeks via bridges & stone-armored sections. The trail was built by volunteers of the Deep East Texas Trail Route & Access Coalition (DET-TRAC), a local 501 (c) (3) non-profit orginization, along with assistance from Talon Trails. Funding provided by private donations & the City of Lufkin.

Here is some footage of one of the singletrack trails on the Abyss ( Nanaimo, BC ) Takes you through some winding, hilly sections, through to the compass and then to the clearcut and beyond. Tight, fast and fun.

Rollercoaster on Mount Benson

The Story

Trail is called 'Rollercoaster' on a mountain called Benson. Some very nice singletrack with berms, drops, roots, bridges and hills. Can be very fast in the right conditions(dry). This video shows the two lower portions of the trail.
