Fontana Fest Mountain Bike Festival is a family-oriented fundraiser to benefit The Mountain Community School Bike Club. The festival features group rides to Tsali and Fontana Village trails, live music, games and contests, sponsor demonstrations, and much more.

The Peoria Area Mountain Bike Association (Illinois) will be hosting the 2007 Midwest Mountain Bike Festival at Farmdale Reservoir in East Peoria, IL. Friday is the Clif Bar Advocacy Summit with topics including trail creation and maintenance, stunt construction, mechanical trail building, and others. Saturday and Sunday are the "festival" days of the event including food, group rides at 5 area trail systems, music, test rides from Ellsworth, Slingshot, Davinci Tandems, Giant, Trek, Specialized, and others. There will be raffles, Leinenkugel's "adult beverages", a night time poker run, games, and a bunch of fun!!
