Looking for info on MTB tour of Red Rock Canyon in Las Vegas.
By ala.biker on 11/3/2006 I'll be traveling to Las Vegas in early December 2006 and would like to rent a MTB and go around Red Rock Canyon. I'm uncertain whether to rent and go on my own or sign up for a tour (half day). Any advice on which bike company might be better to talk to about this? |

Audio: Biking & Interbiking in 'Sin City'
By walker on 10/5/2006 on walker's blog I've got an audio report from my Vegas trip last week -- not just to the massive Interbike trade show, but also to some of the fantastic mountain biking trails in the area. Las Vegas is "Sin City"? Not from my perspective. |
Desert riding
By Steve Outing on 9/30/2006 In Las Vegas for the Interbike show, YourMTB.com enthusiast-in-chief Walker Thompson and I were trade-showed out by Friday afternoon, so we headed to Blue Diamond, a tiny community southwest of town next to the mountains. This is gorgeous desert country, with trails and jeep roads galore to explore. (That's my rental bike for the day; boy, did I miss my Blur.) It's hot here, even at the end of September; we rode in mid-90s -- too much for this Colorado |
