Lyons

This is a massive ride through the forest - It can also be ridden in parts if you know the area. I suggest a Trail Illustrated map to make sure you know where you are going. I have done this ride several times and it's one of my favorites. Deep forest, technical riding, beautiful scenery... 2.5 hours riding time - Probably 3.30-4hours with stops and things... If you have less time, go up Beaver Road, Turn left at Sourdough (south), then come back down via South St Vrain Or park at the Brainard Lake Ranger station, Go Up Little Raven and come back down South St Vrain before picking up Sourdough again to come back to the Ranger station

This is a 2-3 hours ride depending on how much sight seeing, playing you do... An awesome backcountry ride, with one tricky turn off. Situated half way between Lyons, CO and Estes Park, CO

Really nice trail. Scenic views of Longs Peak on the lollipop loop; nice technical on the way down. This is one of the close-in mountain trails that dries out quickly, so you can ride it when other mountain trails are still clogged with snow.

This is the loop we do when everything else is still covered in snow or too muddy, since it dries out fast thanks to southern exposure. Easy trail. Climb up to a loop. ... Easy trail, but pretty rocky, so I tagged it as intermediate; beginners might find it challenging because of that.
