I wanted to show you something that we are getting pretty excited about here at ACA, and as much as I know you guys are all about the big ride, I figured it might be a natural extension of the riding you are all doing now. Check out these custom bags www.flickr.com/photos/51584834@N00 I am having a set built for my bike. All 3 bags weight a grand total of 1.5lb and require no rack system for support. If one packs carefully and puts 6-8 lbs on the bike and about the same in a large camelback, guess what? You can still ride technical singletrack and stay out for a few days and really get into the backcountry.
