By walker on 10/2/2007 on walker's blog This is a personal note to all of you who have been active members and friends. I'm getting married this Saturday! We're going to have the wedding event of the year! This is a new chapter in my life as I'm sure it was in many of yours. Now on to my question. If you're married, how do you fit mountain biking in? Granted, it isn't that difficult to convince someone to visit the most beautiful country on earth, but doesn't marriage come with "other" duties? Will I be regulated to only 2 hours of mountain biking a day? Looking for some advice here, so whatever you got, pass it on. |

Dear YourMTBers,
Memories of your ex at an MTB race
|
By walker on 2/2/2007 on walker's blog Have you ever taken your ex to a race? He or she was ONCE your significant other and now you're at a race and it's friends with benefits. That can be a weird time in your life. They want your attention, but you're racing. Buuuut, you can't just turn them away, because they are supporting you, too. It's like bouncing a basketball in both hands. No matter how good you are at it, you still have to concentrate on just one ball. So, I'm going to this 24-Hour race in a couple of weeks. I once went to this race with an ex. She was tough to be around. The kind you thought would cheat on you. Yeah, rough. Now, I'm going to the same race with my fiance who IS THE BEST 24-HOUR RACE SUPPORTER EVER!!! And, she's hot. I love her and she helps me do better! |
