Great weather, dry dusty riding conditions, and good times. There were lots of prizes handed out to the points series winners and of course to the top 3 from every class. 3 nice bikes were raffled out, along with various other prizes. I won 4 Fox racing glasses and free stickers! Although I had a great practice, I flatted my rear tire half way down the race. I pushed hard and and still finished 13 out of 24 people with a time of 4:51. I will post the results from the race after Mount Snow hosts them online. |

Just over 225 riders competed in the Iron Horse DH Series presented by e.thirteen Race #1. It was an interesting weather weeekend as good old Mother Nature couldn't make up her mind on what she wanted to do. Saturday was hazy and muggy with tons of bugs flying around. The course was mostly dry with some muddy sections. Sunday morning brought a dense fog atop the course with a drizzle mist that wouldn't let up until mid morning. |
