The StoryI had seen videos and photos of the famed "Ribbon", but had no idea just how magnficent this place is... A giant slab of granite perched high in the mesa above Grand Juction... like riding a giant tabletop...Several of my riding buddies (from NJ) and I spent 3 glorious days in Sep 2007 riding Fruita, Grand Junction and Moab. This video, from day 2, starts at the trailhead of the Ribbon Trail, and ends at the base of the canyon just outside of town (GJ). This is not a BIG HUCK, or North Shore style ride, but I'm sure you'll appreciate the scenery,flow and sheer beauty of this place. Hope you enjoy it.
