By markowe on 4/24/2007 Bit quiet in this forum! Just thought I would announce a trip that some friends and I are setting out on next week - six days cycling around 250 miles through the mountains of Serbia, on pretty much unmarked trails, with only the GPS to help us! Serbia is really spectacular and I am VERY much looking forward to the adventure. It would be great to have people rooting for us on the way too, so check out my blog at: http://www.itsgottabered.com/MTB-Serbia/2007/serbia-mountain-bike-trek-2... and maybe sign up for updates so you can follow our progress. Then maybe we can tempt some of you al |

Serbia Bike Trek
Scott Tampico, wassat then?
|
By markowe on 2/2/2007 Hi, I bought a new bike recently, a second-hand Scott Tampico, which believe me is a big step up from what I was riding (see my blog at http://www.itsgottabered.com/MTB-Serbia/2007/new-bike-comes-home/) - the price and the spec were right, but I don't know a lot about this model, and there doesn't seem to be much about it on the internet either. Any of the more knowledgeable (than me - not hard) among you tell me more about this model? (hope the pic is clear enough), Cheers, markowe |
Mountain biking in Serbia
|
By markowe on 2/2/2007 Hi, just thought I'd introduce myself, I am a Brit living in Serbia, and am just starting to discover the fantastic possibilities for mountain biking in this fairly unknown country. You can check out my modest blog (should be a link somewhere around my name). Mountain biking is still pretty wild and free here - no rules, no route markings, and not many other cyclists! Check it out while you still can :) Hope to be hanging around here a bit, looks like a cool place! markowe |
Snow biking - go ahead without me, I'll be OK!
