Pedal-less and Butt Broken...

While riding yesterday, getting ready for the race on Sunday, I took a
spill. It was pretty bad, but only because I landed on a pointy rock
right on my lower back/upper butt.

I laid there in the trail,
too much in pain to move if anyone came. Luckily it only hurt really
bad for about a minute. Then I was able to stand up.

After I got
back on my feet and inspected my bike, I decided to finish the ride.
But, after riding just a few feet, I noticed my left crank arm felt
loose.

Great.

Just testing out some video I took through my digital camera while riding. I need to find a part of the trail with less rocks to test though!

DoubleShot Duathlon 07
Most
people look 10 pounds fatter on video. I found some chicks that look
just fine. Check out all the action and get psyched for the big race.
Then go register.

It's the weekend!

Some of you may know but for those that don't, I just graduate from college, got married, and got a real full time job. So I'm quickly realizing that weekends are a gift sent from God himself!

Anyway, I kicked off a weekend of great mountain biking by riding at Turkey Mountain last night. Bad idea. Too wet. I hate messing up the trails like that so luckily my buddies didn't ride much.

Description
This is one of the best trails in Oklahoma but if you're new to this trail it's easy to get lost, because there are few signs and the trails seem to go in every direction. Once you get familiar with the area you'll recognize the Ho Chi Mien, Lower Ho Chi Mien, the Nature trail, ridge trail, the YMCA area, etc. Awesome trails if you like technical (challenging) singletrack. Also, there is much more to the trail than I put on the map. A large network of spiders with lots of trail.
