By Futurepath on 12/23/2006 Myself (Dave Roberts) and friend John Casto rode what some might consider an epic ride. While many won't consider 4.5 hours epic, the climbs were long, some grueling, but ALL worth it. Meet the view from the Black Mountain trail in the great Pisgah National Forest, NC. We we're told there is a great view off this trail. Wow is all I could say when we reached it. In the picture, your looking at John's Rock to the left, and Looking Glass Rock to the right. You know when something makes you so happy or so excited you sometimes get that tingling feeling. Imagine feeling that forever. That's how awesome this special place is. |

By Futurepath on 9/11/2006 ![]() A friend and I were camping in the Jefferson National Forest on the Douthat State Park border. We rode a 5.5 mile climb to the Tuscarora Overlook (4200ft), and rode down Stoney Run which is 5 miles of pure downhill adrenalin. |
