Winter riding

Adorn the Gord!

I came down with pneumonia in October. I just got the last bit of yuk out of my lungs in the past few weeks. I feel significantly better. I have my strength back, but what aerobic ability I did build up from this past year's riding season seems to be gone...if not a little worse than I started with. I read that fully recovering from pneumonia can take up to a year.

White Mesa Labyrinth

White Mesa Labyrinth

White Mesa is located just south of San Ysidro NM ( about 45 minutes NW of Albuquerque NM).
The actual "moon scape" and this "labyrinth" is off limits from what I understand due to the encroaching Gypsum mining that is happening there, but there is some really fun cold weather riding to be had--too hot in the summer. It gets real windy in the spring so watch out for those 300 foot cliffs. The area is marked well but I'd be happy to send out a map as an attachment to you if you're interested, contact me through my web site: http://www.gallupwaypoints.com/

see Walkers blog about it here:
