Global Warming and MTB
 By MikeG on 1/7/2007 Some people may have noticed an unusually mild winter this year, including myself. We haven't event seen a bit of snow yet. Fruit farmers in the Niagara Region are concerned that the unusually warm weather will mess up the natural, seasonal progression of the fruit trees' growth. I would also prefer colder weather so that the wet, muddy trails would freeze up, as they should have by now. This seems to be the first occurrence where global warming has affected me personally (not as seriously as fruit farmers of course) and of course that got me thinking about it. I wonder if there are others that share the same thoughts about MTB and global warming, or the new buzzword 'climate change'. |
