More free entries for event correspondents

FYI, I just added a couple more events that are participating in our "YourMTB.com correspondent" program. ...

If you're interested in racing in the Night Train 12 Hour Mountain Bike Race in Fontana Village, North Carolina, or attending the Fontana Fest Mountain Bike Festival in Stecoah, North Carolina, and would like to get in free, then apply to be a correspondent at either of those great events by Rusty Sprocket Productions LLC.

In addition to those additions, there also are openings for YourMTB correspondents at Granny Gear Productions' remaining 24 hour races (except 24 Hours of Big Bear; those slots are already filled).

What do you have to do as a "correspondent"? 1. Have fun. 2. Take a bunch of photos and maybe some video. 3 Write some blog items. 4. Post it to YourMTB.com. 5. Have more fun.

To get an idea of what it's like to be a correspondent at an MTB event, take a look at the 24 Hours of Conyers Grassroots Channel on YourMTB.com. Three correspondents -- all of whom raced -- have posted lots of fun photos, video and blog items.

Correspondents wanted to ride and report for 24 hours! Free entry fee

Granny wants you to be a YourMTB correspondent...

Here's a sweet deal for anyone wanting to ride in any of Granny Gear Productions' 24 hour races this year:

Granny and YourMTB.com are seeking 3 "YourMTB correspondents" for each race in the series to take photos and/or shoot video and write some words about their 24 hour experiences.

The reward: Each of our correspondents will get free entry into the race ($140 value) for any amateur classes.

(Granny will comp your portion of the team fee or refund your portion if you are already registered and you are selected.)

Granny Gear's remaining races this year are:

YourMTB correspondents wanted...

Hey, everyone, we here at YourMTB.com have a cool new opportunity for you. We want you to race in a 24-hour race (seriously!) -- and get a free entry -- in exchange for you being a "YourMTB correspondent" (in other words, covering the race).

You can apply here.

We've started working with Granny Gear Productions, of 24-hour race series fame. Granny runs 6 races a year across the United States -- Vail Lake, Moab, Landahl, Conyers, Big Bear and Killington (listed from west to east).
