My favorite thing about cycling is how good it feel's to do things that others dont do and see things others wont.

IronHorse Expert, Trek 2200 (Road Bike) and my wife has a Trek 7300 HyBrid. I am in the process of restoring a Schwinn Traveler.

Always wear a helmet. I purchased a new Giro Ventou (Road Helmet) and wore it out one afternoon with a friend. We were riding trails at a local park. I took a jump and when I landed I just stoped and fell to the side hitting hard. When I recovered and got up my helmut was cracked, straight through, on the side of impact and I walked away. It was the best $100+ I have ever spent. I use this story often when I talk with people who think helmets are not cool.
