I need that feeling I get from being away from the noise of life, the sight of cars, people, signals, and buildings. That feeling is being animal like, out in nature with the quite speed that I control. The only thing that allows me to achieve this, is from a mountain bike. Then afterwards I don't mind dealing with the stress of human things, again.
