I love to get away from people...people as individuals are usually sane and somewhat intelligent -- put them together in a city and watch the stupidity multiply - compound multiplication if population exceeds 500k. Mountain bike people rock; they don't want to increase your taxes or propose a referrendum to allow for gay dog marriages and single sex emu residency status changes...they just want to ride their freakin huffy through the woods, spank some serious Joe Ross behind, smell the fresh scent of GT85, leave the dirt under their fingernails, forget they have a girlfriend/boyfriend/husband/wife/yeti/boss and get lost in the nothingness that allows them the one brief period of clarity seen by AA mebers after the 12th month....is that one thing?..whatever, its my favorite.
