Favorite Thing about Mountain Biking
I love pushing myself to the limit, flying through the trees, and coming home dirty. I love being outdoors, I love the solitude (even when riding in groups) and I love the exercise. I have yet to try a single speed, but I'm a glutton for punishment, so I'd probably enjoy that too.
Favorite MTB Destination
Tsali, NC
Where I've Been
I've not been too far out. My first mountain biking experience was Tsali, NC. Since then I've just been riding around Nashville - Hamilton Creek, Long Hunter State Park, AEDC in Manchester, Lock 4 in Gallatin, and the (illegal) Battleground foot trails in Murfreesboro.
My Bikes
'06 Specialized Hardrock Sport
Favorite Trail
Lock 4 in Gallatin, TN. It's fast and fluid with just the right amount of technical spots.
MTB Tip
Don't look at the trees.
Favorite Memory
My first endo - off of a 3 foot drop, didn't settle back, fully compressed the fork and landed on a tree stump. Jumped up and high-fived my buddy. My first mountain bike injury, hell yeah!
Special Skills
I can steer good.
