I have been an outdoorsman my whole life. I love to backpack, fish, hike and kayak, but usually solo. I bought my first mountain bike in June ( a Schwinn) and fell in love the first time on the trail. I like pedalling my ass off for 40 minutes just to scream downhill for 5. I like to come home with covered in dirt, mud and sometimes blood. I like the adaptablity of a vehicle that is more capable than anything ever invented to grind through water, mud, snow, grass or on a road. If I get bored I speed up. If I get tired I slow down. I'm not in very good shape yet and I am still a beginner on very technical routes, but I am seeing and feeling improvement. I have only gone bymyself and I will probably keep it that way. The perfect combination of solitude, exercise, nature and adrenaline is what I love.
