Hi,
I don't really know if any specific trails but a lot the town and surrounding areas have bike paths for people to use. I use this site to find trails where I live and in the surrounding states. Hope it helps!

Alleghany (NY) State Park

Where I've Been

Alleghany State Park, plus Albion Hills Conservation Area (North of Toronto, near Bolton), Spring Break '07: Alifia River St. Park near Tampa, FL.

My Bikes

04? Schwinn 210-FS (upgraded drive train, and brakes from Giant) and 05 Giant XTC (upgraded Avid BB7 - 8" front, 6" back)

Favorite Trail

Alleghany State Park. Takes a couple of hours to get up to the top (1000 ft vertical), and about 20 minutes getting down. Locally: 12-mile creek and Short Hills Conservation Area

MTB Tip

Take someone out who has never gone MTBing before. Promote the sport/lifestyle. Just like someone took you for the first time, pay it forward.

Favorite Memory

1) Going on my first ride with some mountain bikers, thinking "these guys are nuts, but I think I like this mountain biking thing" 2) Riding up the steep side of Hog's Back, and making it all the way.

Special Skills

I am a good endurance climber. I like long gradual climbs.
