Favorite Thing about Mountain Biking
There's something about biking through the woods that makes me feel like a kid again... Or maybe it's the logs, the mud, the rocks, and the rush of trying your hardest to make it up that long wicked climb just to rip down the other side.
Where I've Been
Michaux State Forest, Two Mile Park, Kennerdell Tract/Clear Creek State Forest, Frick Park, and many other trails in Pennsylvania.
My Bikes
Cannondale Prophet 1000 '06 and a Univega Cf606? 1990 something.
Favorite Trail
My favorite trails are all at Two Mile Run Park because it's some great single track. It's very technical. Hey we all know technical equals fun!!
MTB Tip
First tip: Listen to the more experienced riders because they really are a wealth of knowledge.
Second tip: When in doubt...pedal! Keep those feet moving.
Favorite Memory
Seeing my "know it all" buddy do a superman dive over his handlebars. He had just asked why we were going sooo slow. After he essentially was body slammed by his bike, I quipped, "That's why."
