About Me

mtb w's guestbook

I ride JB quite a bit and its fun but it gets old after a while. I started riding caesars creek more and more and that is a lot of fun. JB is very basic but it does have some fun man made ramps and stuff on the trails. I just rode out at Scioto state park near chillcothe and that was a blast. talk about some fun trails.

Hey if you are ever going to be in the Dayton area, hit me up and I can schedule a ride or something!

Thanks for the add man!

Favorite Thing about Mountain Biking
I love to get out to get away from daily life and take a breath of fresh air. I particularly enjoy getting out into the mountains since mtb can take me to incredible vistas. Of course, cleaning a good section of trail gives me an incredible sense of accomplishment as does a good hard climb. Mountain biking just has so many good things about it I can't believe it didn't do it until a few years ago.
Favorite MTB Destination
Crested Butte, CO and Moab, UT
Where I've Been
I have mainly been to many places in Colorado, like Crested Butte (so many kick butt trails along with a great mtn town to enjoy after the ride is over). Of course, Moab is incredible too. Winter Park, CO is also full of great singletrack.
My Bikes
98 Gary Fisher Tassajara 05 Trek 4500 06 Stumpjumper FSR (I love my stumpjumper!)
Favorite Trail
It's a toss up between Trail 401 in Crested Butte and Porcupine Rim in Moab. They both have incredible descents with outstanding views.
MTB Tip
If you find a technical area, stop and try it a few times until you get it. If you don't get it after a few tries, come back later and do it again. Repetition improves your skills and confidence.
