Beginner

Breaking the cycle. Not the bike, but the unhealthy cycle I was raised with. I love my folks, but they are right at 60 and still smoke. I am not going to set that example for my kids. I am tired of being "tubby" and I love to ride a bike. Mountain bikes especially because I can ride it anywhere I want....pavement, dirt, mud, rocks...sand is a pain, though. With a road bike, well, you have to stay on the road! I just started getting serious about it this year. I love the excersize! I am tired of being "tubby"!!!

I live in logging country, man, I can go just about anywhere and love it. I am about an hour from the Ouchita Mountains. I haven't been yet, but can't wait to go!

For being an fat ex-smoker, I can grind out the miles!
