I love the challenges of trail riding in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains - black dirt and leaves one minute, hard clay single-track the next, the occasional tree root, stump, blowdown, wash-out, shale rock, gravel, ankle-high creek - we got it ALL! Then there's the wildlife - they hear you tracking through, but can't get a fix on you - you're like a ghost on alumium and rubber - here but not really. Oh yeah - can't beat the throb of the heart on a quarter-mile climb and the fresh blast of mountain air clawing it's way down the old guzzle as you kick the turbo in just to hit the crest and hang on for the next wild ride down!!!
